March 22, 2016 – A team of delegates from Japan comprising Prof. Hiroshi Hoshino, School of Economics, Kyushu University, Prof. Chie Iguchi, International Business, Keio University, Prof. Takabumi Hayashi, Global Business, Kokushikan University and Dr. Masashi Arai, International Business, Asia University has visited Global Communication Center (GCC) of Grameen Communications (GC) at Grameen Bank Complex, Mirpur, Dhaka. Ms. Nazneen Sultana (Managing Director, GC) and Dr. Kazi Rafiqul Islam Maruf (Consultant, GCC) welcomed them to the office. The group was briefed on the background, history and progress of the GCC projects in joint collaboration with Kyushu University by Dr. Maruf. The delegates expressed their intention to work in long term collaborative relationship with GCC. Especially in the IROP program, they showed their keen interest. GCC looks forward to carry on the conversation and move towards the possible collaborative programs.
