April 6, 2016 – A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Global Communication Center (GCC) of Grameen Communications (GC) and Grameen eHealth Care Center, a wing of Grameen Multimedia Institute to provide healthcare service under the brand name of “GramHealth” in 6 No. Mainamati Union of Burichang Upazila under Comilla District. Ms. Nazneen Sultana (Managing Director, Grameen Communications) and Mohammad Forkan Alam (Founder & Entrepreneur, Grameen Multimedia Institute) have signed the MoU. In the signing ceremony G.S.K Samir (Managing Director, Janata Hospital & Diagnostic Center), Dr. Rafiqul Islam Maruf (Director- Operation) and other GCC members were also present. Under this agreement, the inhabitants of Mainamati Union of Burichang Upazila will be able to get the basic and regular health checkup services of GramHealth:  Portable Health Clinic system along with doctors’ consultancy through advance telemedicine directly from GCC’s call center of Dhaka.

The training program of the local Health Assistant will be held at the end of April, 2016 and the service will be available from the beginning of May, 2016. GCC looks forward to the successful launching of the program.
