ইডিজিই (EDGE) শীতকালীন প্রোগ্রাম ২০১৬ এর জন্য জিসিসির কিয়ুশু বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে (Kyushu University) আইআরওপির আয়োজন

December 26-30, 2016 – IROP for EDGE, WINTER-2016 Program has been completed with a commendable presentation ceremony held at the Biyani Girls College, VDN campus. The program has been conducted by Global Communication Center (GCC) of GC in collaboration with Biyani Group of Colleges, India. The program was attended by CA Rajeev Biyani (Chairman, Biyani Group of Colleges), Dr. Sanjay Biyani (Director (Acad., Biyani Group of Colleges), Dr. Manish Biyani (Director, R&D) and other representative. From Grameen side, Dr. Rafiqul Islam Maruf (Director, GCC) and Jessica Maria Gomes (Business Development Officer, GCC). From Kyushu University, Toru Tanigawa (Prof. EGDE) and other teachers and students. Every year this program is organized by Global Communication Center (GCC) in Bangladesh but for gaining the different experience, it has been organized in India for this year. 11 (eleven)  Japanese students with 6 (six) Faculties/staffs led by Prof. Toru Tanigawa have visited India under the program and carried out their research activities in the areas of medical services and Waste Management & Environment of India.

The participants have conducted their research activities including interactive interviews, discussion sessions, seminars and field visits. The student was divided into two groups, one is Healthcare & Medical Team and rest on is Waste Management and Environment Team. Healthcare & Medical Team has been visited a Local School and talked with the students and teachers, public hospital and talked with  the patient and healthcare staffs, Medicine shop and talked with the customer of medicine shop and also observed GramHealth: PHC service delivery system. Waste Management and Environment Team has been visited Bazaar (Market) and Shops, street food vendors and vegetable market, waste management process of the market, Waste Dumping and Production Process and taking interview of shop owners, customers on waste situation. Throughout their five days stay (December 26 – December 30, 2016). The field visits took place at the area of Jaipur in India

On the final day, the presentation ceremony commenced with a welcome note from Dr. Kazi Rafiqul Islam Maruf (Director, GCC). Afterwards, the participants presented the social issues they worked on and their proposition for solution. Later on, Dr. Manish Biyani (Director, R&D) and Prof. Toru Tanigawa shared their valuable comments on the program and activities. Finally, a certificate of participation was handed over to each of the participants with the presence of Biyani Group of Colleges officials.
