November 26, 2015 – A team of delegates from Sweden led by Prof. Dr. Bjorn-Erik Erlandsson, Deputy Dean of KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Dr. Anne-Marie and Mr. Mannan Mridha together with Prof. Dr. Md. Abul Hashem of Bangladesh Agriculture University (BAU) and Prof. Mohammad Saiful Islam of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) have visited Global Communication Center (GCC), Grameen Communications (GC) in Grameen Bank Complex. Ms. Nazneen Sultana (Managing Director, GC) and Dr. Rafiqul Islam Maruf (Consultant, GCC) welcomed them.

The delegation has attended a presentation session on the distinguished activities of GCC. Prof. Erlandsson has expressed his keen interest to work with GCC specially in the sector of health and agriculture. During this discussion, the delegation has also remarked and emphasized to participate in our International Research Opportunity Program (IROP) and engage Swedish students in this program. Later, they have attended a demonstration of our GramHealth: Portable Health Clinic system.

GCC looks forward to carry on the conversation and move towards a collaborative effort.
