January 25, 2014 – Two faculty members from Enhancing Development of Global Entrepreneur (EDGE) Program of Kyushu University, Japan has visited Bangladesh under the IROP program of GCC through January 20 – 22, 2015. The team had series of meetings with potential concerning parties including Bangladesh Bank (SME Division), SME Foundation, Sonali Bank Ltd, Marketing Department of University of Dhaka during the program. Mr. Munir Hasan (Coordinator, Youth Programme) and Mr. Nazmul Hossain (Assistant Professor, University of Dhaka) have participated in the program with GCC as joint partners in the program. The team also met with two entrepreneurs of Bangladesh.

The visiting members, Prof. Toru Tanigawa is the Director General of Robert T. Huang Entrepreneurship Center of Kyushu University and Ms. Hiromi Yamada is a faculty member of Robert T. Huang Entrepreneurship Center of the same university. The team was accompanied by Dr. Kazi Rafiqul Islam Maruf (Consultant, GCC) throughout the trip.
