March 29, 2015 – Dr. Masahiro Kuroda (Manager, Standardization Promotion Office, International Affairs Department) from National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT), Japan has conducted a workshop titled “BAN Technology for Medical Sensors” in collaboration with Global Communication Center (GCC) of Grameen Communications. The two-day long program took place through March 24 – 25, 2015. Dr. Kazi Rafiqul Islam Maruf (Consultant, GCC) has coordinated the program from GCC. The software development team of GCC, the Health Assistants and ICT Support Assistants delivering the GramHealth healthcare services to its clients took part in the program. A total of 23 employees of Grameen Communications have been provided with the basic health checked up service.
