GramClean Pilot Project Inauguration Ceremony

February 01, 2016 – GramClean pilot project has kicked off on Sunday at Ekhlaspur, Chadpur. Head Master of Ekhlaspur High School Md. Abdul Motin has inaugurated a two-month long program by cutting ribbon. Global Communication Center (GCC) of Grameen Communications has arranged GramClean project with the collaboration of Global Change Makers Program (GCMP) of Japan. The program is included collection and management of different kinds of garbage from households, schools and markets in Ekhlaspur Ward. During the inauguration ceremony at school, the Head Master called upon all the students to play their due role in keeping the school and village clean and said the cleaning operation will have to continue for everyday. Jessica Maria Gomes (Business Development Associate) and Md. Ali Noor (Assistant Coordinator) were present during the inauguration ceremony.
