GramHealth: MoU Signed between GCC and LMRF
October 26, 2015 – Global Communication Center of Grmeen Communications and LMRF (Lion Moklesur Rahman Fund) Healthcare respectively represented by Ms. Nazneen Sultana (Managing Director, Grameen Communications) and Dr. Shamim Khan (CEO, LMRF) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today in order to provide healthcare services at four service sites under Comilla and Chittagong Districts under the brand name of “GramHealth”. Dr. Kazi Rafiqul Islam Maruf (Consultant, GCC) and Mr. Rajib Chakrabarty (Sr. Business Development & Operation Officer, GCC) were also present during the event. Under this agreement, the inhabitants of (Galiara Union of Comilla Sadar Dakshin Upazila & Dakshin Shilmuri Union of Barura Upazila under Comilla District, and Daulatpur and Sundarpur Unions of Fatikchari Upazila under Chittagong District will be able to get the basic health checkup services of GramHealth Portable Health Clinic along with doctors’ consultancy through advance telemedicine in their neighborhood whenever they want. The telemedicine services will be supported by GCC.
A training program will be conducted through November 08 – 12, 2015 with the Health Checkup Service Delivery team comprising of Health Assistants and ICT Assistants to deliver the Portable Health Clinic Services to the rural communities. The participants will be given hands on training on using the health checkup devices of the Portable Health Box and the modules GramHealth System.
LMRF Healthcare seems to be promising to deliver GramHealth services dedicatedly in all its service sites. GCC wishes successful execution of the activities of LMRF.
