On February 22, 2018-GCC attended a 4-days-long event organized by BASIS SOFTEXPO, the largest showcase of IT and ITES products and services in the private sector of Bangladesh. With a view to bring marginal people within the range of ICT, BASIS SOFTEXPO organized the event at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre through February 22-25, 2018. The event was a congregation of ICT companies, personalities, key policy makers, industry leaders and other ICT stakeholders.

On this event GCC team showed an innovative telemedicine service model called Portable Health Clinic (PHC). From the very beginning of the event, GCC experienced a surging interest from numerous visitors with various backgrounds, not only limited by health professionals but also NGOs, researchers, local administrators, businessmen and academicians. The visitors asked different questions to know about PHC and expressed their interest for replicating it to their areas of operations. BASIS SOFTEXPO authority also visited several times to the GCC stall and gathered information on which areas the service model is in operation provided by our expert team.

At the end of the event GCC team experienced a great deal of success and hope to expand Portable Health Clinic (PHC) project successfully in collaboration with potential partners in future.
