March 29, 2015 – Global Communication Center of Grameen Communications is participating in a joint research initiative titled “Comprehensive Diagnosis of Gender Relations in Key Wheat Target Regions of South Asia and Development of Guidelines for Gender Responsive Agriculture Innovations Wheat Based Systems” being held in collaboration with Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU) (Glasgow, Scotland). India, Pakistan and Nepal are also taking part in the program along with Bangladesh. As a part of the initiative, a six days long training session has been held through March 16 – 21, 2015 and Dr. Kazi Rafiqul Islam Maruf (Consultant, GCC) has the led the team from Bangladesh throughout the training program.
