GramHealth: PHC got PTC Best Mobile Innovation Award 2019
On January 22, 2019- Grameen Communications and Kyushu University were jointly awarded Pacific Telecommunication Council (PTC) best mobile innovation award.
PTC is a global non-profit membership organization promoting the advancement of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the Pacific Rim, the most dynamic geography of the world, spanning over 40 nations. The PTC Innovation Awards recognize the individuals and companies transforming ICT industry and celebrates connections vital to the transformation and proliferation of telecommunications and ICT (Information and Communication Technologies).
The winner was announced at the PTC’19 awards gala held at Hawai’i Hilton Village Waikiki Beach Resort, USA. Dr. Ashir Ahmed, Associate Professor, Department of Advanced Information Technology, Kyushu University received 2019 PTC Innovation Award in a category of Best Mobile Innovation. In his speech, Dr. Ashir thanked his fellow students and professors in Kyushu University and warmly recognizes the contribution of colleagues from Grameen Communications for their immense support and cooperation to bring PHC one step ahead.
