Delegates from Earth Identity Project, Japan visited GCC

February 13, 2017 – Two delegates from Earth Identity Project (EIP), Japan led by Ms. Hiroko Kawahara (President, EIP) has visited Global Communication Center (GCC), Dhaka. Dr. Kazi Rafiqul Islam Maruf (Director, GCC) welcomed them to the office. GCC has been working on its Virtual Blood Bank (VBB) project in collaboration with EIP. The purpose of this project is to establish social Identity of the unreached people and improve their quality of life in Bangladesh. Under this joint initiative, the remote communities are being checked up with their blood groups and are brought under the digitized mapping of blood donors. More than thirty-four thousands people have been served under the program as far.
Over the conversation, the delegation attended a presentation session on the activities held under Virtual Blood Bank (VBB) program. The team also discussed about the future initiatives and activities to carry forward the joint collaboration.
Earth Identity Project is a non-profit-organization in Japan, which has been working to contribute to the achievement of world peace and well-being of peace with citizens. GCC looks forward to continue working together with EIP and move ahead to the achievement of creating social identities for people.
