ISIP Connects School Students of Bangladesh and Japan
August 13, 2017- GCC connected a group of school going students of Bangladesh and Japan through International Students’ Interactive Program (ISIP) with the joint collaboration of Kyushu University. Under this program, total 19 students, 8 from Bangladesh and 11 from Japan, attended this program through video conferencing. The students from both countries introduced themselves, asked to know norms & cultures of the other country and responded to questions of their counterparts. Through this program, the young students got the opportunity to interact with people from other country and shared their opinion.
The students from Bangladesh side were given a training on Portable Health Clinic (PHC) system demonstrated through playing roles as patient, doctor and nurse by the participated students. They were also taught how to prepare a PowerPoint presentation using available computer applications. After the students’ interaction program, the participants from Bangladesh side were given certificate by the Managing Director of Grameen Communications. The whole program was respectively supervised by two Directors of GCC, Dr. Rafiqul Islam Maruf from Bangladesh side and Dr. Ashir Ahmed from Japan side. |
