GCC Trains up GramHealth-LMRF Program Staffs

<p style=”text-align: justify;”>November 15, 2015 – The Training Program of GramHealth-LMRF Health Checkup Service Delivery team has been held through November 08 – 12, 2015, organized and conducted by Global Communication Center of Grameen Communications. The health checkup team comprised of Health Assistants and ICT Assistants to work and deliver regular services at their designated service areas took part in the training program. A total of six field staffs of LMRF successfully accomplished their participation in the training program. A team of experts from GCC conducted all the sessions during the program.</p>
<p style=”text-align: justify;”>The trained up field staffs will soon serving at the four service sites: Galiara Union of Comilla Sadar Dakshin Upazila & Dakshin Shilmuri Union of Barura Upazila under Comilla District, and Daulatpur and Sundarpur Unions of Fatikchari Upazila under Chittagong District. Through this initiative, a large population under these areas will be able to access the basic health checkup and remote expert doctors’ consultancy services at their convenience.</p>
<p style=”text-align: justify;”>Dr. Kazi Rafiqul Islam Maruf (Consultant, GCC) has monitored the training program closely from GCC. Md. Kaoser Bin Siddique (Manager – Research, Evaluation & Development) from LMRF was also present during most of training sessions.</p>
<p style=”text-align: justify;”>GCC has recently reached to an agreement with Lion Moklesur Rahman Foundation Healthcare (LMRF) to work together on its GramHealth project in order to bring the people of Comilla and Chittagong districts under the coverage of the program. The program also offers employment and entrepreneurship opportunity to the local educated youths. GCC looks forward to successful launching of the field programs and keep on contributing to the development of the communities.</p>
