International Interns of Yunus Centre Visited GCC

June 20, 2017 – A group of 6 International students who are studying in different universities of USA, Canada and UK such as University of Texas, Middlebury College, Lafayette College, McGill University and London School of Economics have visited GCC. The team visited Bangladesh under Immersion Program, which aims to provide young minds with an opportunity to learn about the concept of social business. In this connection, the students as part of their study visited GCC also to know about its latest ICT based research activities for the unreached communities.

Dr. Rafiqul Islam Maruf (Director, GCC) welcomed them to the office. Later on, they attended a presentation session on the distinguished research activities of GCC. The young interns from various countries appreciated the innovative research ideas and projects of GCC in various areas. They showed their keen interest in the research projects of GCC and wish to take the opportunity to research on the rural health and medication in a developing country like Bangladesh.
