October 11, 2015 – Today a representative from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has visited Grameen Communications (GC) and Global Communication Center (GCC) office at Grameen Bank Complex. With the meeting, GC-GCC and JICA aim to find opportunities and explore potentials for collaborative activities with common goals in future.

Ms. Nazneen Sultana (Managing Director, GC) and Dr. Kazi Rafiqul Islam Maruf (Consultant, GCC) welcomed him to the office. After that, he attended a presentation session on the distinguished activities of GC and GCC. He has shown keen interest to the project activities of GCC and came up with queries to know more. Later on, he had an open discussion with the members on how JICA can contribute to reach the social goals GC and GCC are working on. He also discussed about the areas of priority depending on the needs of the society.

GCC looks forward to carry on the conversation and move towards collaborative efforts.
