WRCPA (Japan) visited Bangladesh for Automobile Recondition Parts Business Opportunity Research
May 19, 2017 – Four delegates from World Recycle Car Parts Association (WRCPA), Japan led by Mr. Takuya Kawamura (Chairman, WRCPA as well as the President of Sunpower Corporation) have visited Bangladesh for studying automobile recondition parts market and possible joint venture opportunity under the International Research Opportunity Program (IROP) of GCC. Ms. Nazneen Sultana (Managing Director, GC) and Dr. Rafiqul Islam Maruf (Director, GCC) welcomed them to the office on May 15, 2017. GCC organized the 5 days program and set various meetings with relevant parties and field studies. The team also met Professor Muhammad Yunus at Yunus Center to learn about Social Business (SB) and to see SB opportunities.
Other members of the delegates were Mr. Kawashiro Noboru (President, Japan Export Import Co. Ltd.), Mr. Saito Koichi (President, UP Rising) and An Xuhuan (CEO, Mr. Anda Kokusai Boueki Co. Ltd). WRCPA is a non-profit-organization in Japan, which has been working to transfer Japanese technologies to the developing world and thus, contributing to the social development. GCC looks forward to continue working with WRCPA and move ahead to the achievement of creating social well-being for the communities. |
