<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n| September 17, 2017- The leading Japanese e-waste recycling company JEPLAN Inc. recently completed its Bangladesh trip. As part of the company\u2019s mission to recycle garment wastages especially polyester ones through setting-up plant in Bangladesh, JEPLAN representative Mr. Takahiro Chiba met few leading garment companies. In the meetings, he demonstrated how Japanese technology can transform garment wastages into making new cloths, thus contributing to effective utilization of resources and significant reduction of carbon dioxide produced from existing processes. This technology can certainly open-up endless possibilities of saving foreign currencies to import raw materials for polyester cloth and PET bottle, employment generation of many people, reduction of CO2 etc. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Apart from garment companies, Mr. Chiba met with a used-bottle recycling company and expressed his interest in joint-collaboration. He also met with Prof. Muhammad Yunus to get insightful suggestion on how to integrate social business philosophy into the recycling business. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n After meeting with relevant parties, JEPLAN representative made his trip to Chhaygaon union of Shariatpur district to see the progress of a cleanliness project called GramClean, which is financed by that company. He expressed his great satisfaction after seeing the clean environment maintained by villagers, school students and project staffs.
